Alex throws together Korean-ish, community-centered “voila vegetables.” @dinnerpartybk serves “rustic and lovingly-made, balanced but never boring….somewhere between French and Italian cuisines.” The two are coming together for a one-night-only, four-course menu, celebrating their origins as 20-something, subversive homecooks falling down the CA-to-NY-pipeline, and the best of the summer’s produce.

It’s a celebration, not a fusion, so “don’t let the prix-fixe fool you: [neither are] fancy people.”

Alex is serving a summer spread of banchan and her new sesame semolina cake at her first pop-up at Cherry On Top in Bushwick! She wants to host all her people in nyc—from school, from the city, from my food community, from past lives—in one space to gather, drink, and feast on voila vegetables. She can’t wait for everyone to meet each other.
